Do I need the main Price It Right toolkit first?
Yes. The Quote Sheet reads your ingredient costs and margin settings live from your Price It Right toolkit — it's not a standalone product. If you haven't got the toolkit yet, start there and come back for this when you're quoting custom orders regularly.
How does it connect with my toolkit?
The Quote Sheet pulls directly from your toolkit's Ingredient Master List — so when butter goes up and you update the price in your toolkit, your next quote uses the new number automatically. You pick ingredients from a dropdown, enter the quantities for the custom order, and the total cost plus suggested selling price appear instantly. No re-entering data, no stale prices.
Does it handle allergens properly for Natasha's Law?
Yes. Every ingredient in your toolkit already carries its allergen tags (gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, etc). The Quote Sheet pulls those tags through onto the customer-facing quote automatically, so you deliver a written allergen declaration with every custom order — exactly what Natasha's Law requires for food prepared to order.
Can I quote for wedding cakes, large orders, or subscriptions?
Yes. You can quote up to three pricing options (A, B, C) in a single quote — ideal for tiered wedding cakes or "which size do you want" conversations — and the deposit calculator splits payments however you need. For recurring subscription orders, run the quote once and save the output as your price reference.
Can I email the quote directly to the customer?
The sheet generates a clean, printable Client Quote tab with your logo, allergen declaration, itemised breakdown, and deposit terms. You can download it as a PDF, paste it into an email, or share a read-only link to the Google Sheet. It's not a standalone email tool — it's a quote generator designed to slot into however you already communicate with customers.
What if my ingredient prices change after I've sent a quote?
The quote is a snapshot of the price you agreed at the time. Once you've sent it, nothing re-calculates. If costs spike before the order is delivered and you need to adjust, that's a conversation with the customer — the sheet doesn't pretend to solve it for you. For future quotes, updating the ingredient price in your toolkit is the only change needed; every new quote picks up the new number automatically.
Can I get a refund?
Because the Quote Sheet is a digital download, we can't offer refunds once the file has been accessed — which is standard for digital products. If anything isn't working as expected, or you're stuck on setup, get in touch and we'll sort it out.
